Terms of Service

By enrolling in Benson College of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts (hereinafter referred to as “the College”), you acknowledge and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the student) and the College.

Enrollment and Admission:

a.The College reserves the right to accept or reject any application for enrollment without providing a reason.
b. To be admitted to the College, you must meet the admission requirements and provide accurate and complete information during the application process.
c. Admission to the College does not guarantee enrollment in specific courses or programs.

 

Course Registration and Fees:

a. Registration for courses and programs is subject to availability and at the discretion of the College.
b. All fees and tuition charges must be paid in full by the specified due date. Failure to do so may result in late fees or cancellation of enrollment.
c. Tuition fees are non-refundable, except as outlined in the College’s refund policy.

Academic Policies and Standards:

a. Students are expected to maintain satisfactory academic progress, attend classes regularly, and complete assignments and examinations as required.
b. Plagiarism or any form of academic dishonesty is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion from the College.
c. The College reserves the right to modify course schedules, curricula, and program requirements, and to discontinue or combine courses or programs, as deemed necessary.

Code of Conduct:

a.Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner while on campus or participating in College-related activities.
b. Harassment, discrimination, or any form of misconduct will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action.
c. Students are responsible for the proper use and care of College facilities, equipment, and resources.

Confidentiality and Privacy

a. The College respects your privacy and will handle personal information in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
b. The College may collect, use, and disclose personal information for the purpose of enrollment, academic administration, and communication.
c. The College may share personal information with affiliated institutions, third-party service providers, or government authorities as required by law.

Intellectual Property

a. All course materials, textbooks, and intellectual property provided by the College are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
b. Students may not reproduce, distribute, or publish any course materials without prior written permission from the College.

Termination or Withdrawal:

a. The College reserves the right to terminate your enrollment or participation in any program if you fail to comply with these terms and conditions or if your behavior is deemed detrimental to the College community.
b. If you decide to withdraw from a course or program, you must provide written notice to the College. Refunds, if applicable, will be subject to the College’s refund policy.

 

Limitation of Liability:

a. The College will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your enrollment or participation in any program.
b. The College’s liability, if any, shall be limited to the amount of tuition or fees paid by you for the specific course or program.
